This story appeared in the school newsletter on January 25, 2007.
Once upon a time there was a magician. His name was Mellow Yellow Mushfingers. He could do the best magic in Fingerville, the town where everybody has eleven fingers or more.
One day Mellow Yellow was walking in front of a school when the school let out. The kids began to chase him all the way to his apartment. He didn't know why they were chasing him. Mellow Yellow stayed there for eleven days or more.
Then he went to Broadway in New York City to see a movie. He went home and there was a knock at his door. It was his manager. He said "Hey, Mellow Yellow, will you do some tricks on Broadway?"
Mellow Yellow went back to Broadway where he did some tricks. The people on Broadway asked him to stay, and he did.
