Best Waffles Ever
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup unbleached flour
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 Tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups soy milk
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 2 tsp cider or white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp powdered egg replacer
Whisk together liquids and egg replacer. Sift together dry ingredients in large bowl. Blend liquids into dry mixture thoroughly. Bake in hot waffle iron approximately 4 minutes, or as directed by manufacturer.
Makes 3 large (4-square) waffles.
